Last night
I begged the Wise One to tell me
the secret of the world.

“Be quiet,

रात बीती, मैंने प्रार्थना की बुद्ध गुरु से,
कि सुझाएँ मुझ को
रहस्य जग का ..
धीमे धीमे फुसफुसाए वह
"चुप रहो ..नहीं कह सकते  रहस्य
छिपे हैं वह मौन में बस ...."

परीक्षा

 

When you go through a hard period,
When everything seems to oppose you,
... When you feel you cannot even bear one more minute,
NEVER GIVE UP!
Because it is the time and place that the course will divert!

जब परीक्षा का समय हो,

लगे सब विरुद्ध हों ,

लगे एक पल भी न जी पायेंगे अब,

त्यागो  न आशा !

What comes, will go
what is found, will be lost again...
but what you are is beyond coming and going
and beyond description.

The body is like a letter:
look into it and see whether it's worthy to be read by the King.
Go into a corner, open the letter, and read what is in it,
see whether its words are suitable for royalty.
If it isn't suitable, tear it to pieces,
... write another letter, and remedy the fault.

But don't think it's easy to open the letter of the body;
otherwise everyone would readily discover the secret of the heart.
How difficult it is to open that letter!
It's only for the strong, not for those playing games.

देह जैसे पत्र कोई
पढो इसको और परखो....पढ़ेगा क्या इसे राजा ?
खोज कर एकांत, खोलो पत्र फिर, फिर पढ़ो..
 सोचो इसके शब्द लायक  स्वमिलभ्य   के, नहीं या  .
यदि नहीं इस योग्य तो  करो इसको चिंदी चिंदी ..
लिखो दूजा पत्र करो दूर सारी खामियां फिर ..
पर नहीं आसान पढ़ना  देह रूपी पत्र
ऐसा होता तो सभी जान लेते मर्म उर के
कितना दुर्लभ पढ़ना इसको !
शक्तिशाली ही करे यह,न की जो बस खेल खेलें ..

across the sky , a breathing peace ,

गगन भर में , सांस लेने शांत
