Your First Eyes
A lover has four streams inside,
of water, wine, honey, and milk.

Find those in yourself,
and pay no attention what so-and-so says about such-and-such.
The rose does not care if someone calls it a thorn, or a jasmine.
Ordinary eyes categorize human beings,
That one is a Zoroastrian.
This one, Muslim.
Walk instead with the other vision given you, your first eyes.
Don't squint, and don't stare blankly like a vulture.
Those who love fire fall in the fire.
A fly slips from the edge into the whey.
If you are in love with the infinite,
why grieve over earth washing away in the rain?
Bow to the essence in a human being.
A desert drinks war-blood,
but if it knew this secret,
springs would rise, rose gardens.
Don't be content with judging people good and bad.
Grow out of that.
The great blessing is that Shams has poured a strength into the ground that lets us wait and trust the waiting.

पहली आँखें तुम्हारी
प्रेमीह्रदय से उमड़ते चार झरने
जल, मदिरा ,मधु व दूध
खोजो ये अपने ही में,
ध्यान न दो सोचता क्या कोई जग में
गुलाब सोचता न कहता कोई उसे काँटा  या चमेली
दृष्टि साधारण बाँट देती मनुज को ,
की कोई है यहूदी
कोई मुस्लिम
जियो दृष्टि दूसरी रख- पहली आँखें तुम्हारी
वक्र होने दो न इसको ..ताको न गिद्ध जैसे
प्यार जिनको आग से, वे कूद जाते आग में
मक्खी चुप से खिसकती मट्ठे में
प्यार है यदि असीमित से,
शोक क्यों बहती मृदा का ?
 कर नमन अस्तित्व को,
सोख्ता मरू युद्ध-शोणित
यदि समझता ये रहस्य,
झरने खिलाते बागीचे  गुलाबों के ,
रहो न सीमित किसी को मान के अच्छा -बुरा
उठो ऊपर
शुक्र है कि शम्स ने पुख्ता ज़मीन की , इंतज़ार करना हमको  सब्र से,विशवास से

बदल देता सृष्टि के प्रति बोध
सर न जाने पाँव
पाँव जाने न सर, कोई करता न फ़िक्र
बदलते रहते दोनों .. ...

पांख भावना के दो

God turns you from one feeling to another and teaches you by means of opposites, so that you will have two wings to fly — not one.





भावना को तुम्हारी बदल देता ईश और इस तरह सिखाता जीना द्वन्दो में,उग सकें दो पांख तुम में उड़ सको जिनके सहारे -ना कि इक पांख के बल ..

एक ही बस रास्ता है जीत पाने को उसे,
प्रिय मेरा है जो
समर्पित हो जाओ पूरे

जीवन नया एक .

जैसे ताज़ी सुरभि सुबह की

Before coming to this world

        स्वर्ग   में रहते थे हम 
                        मित्र दिव्य दूतों के थे
            घर अपना तो वही..
                                   लौटेंगे हम वहीँ

और खोजो फिर
कौन देता हवा इसको
